The back ranks of Cav don't get their charge attack, and given Cav is already low model, having fewer units attack on the charge blunts their burst dmg on charge against units bracing, moving, or counter charging across the board.

If you can sacrifice some infantry HP to trade for cav HP, you take that choice in MP.īasically CA went full silly again with these changes. It's a better cost effective trade too, since cav tend to cost more than infantry. To me, in MP, you rather inflict damage on the cav to take them out quicker so they are less of a threat. If you want them to kill the cav, you counter-charge. If you want your infantry line to hold longer, you brace. Now, same QK charge takes about 1/6, it's barely a scratch which is hilariously weak.īracing for Infantry works, they take less dmg, but it also isn't better, because they inflict less damage. Previous, a charging QK would take ~1/4% of the HP of the Black Orc. But it also removes the back ranks of cav from doing their attacks (& removes charge bonus on cav adding to collision dmg)! That's right, they still win nearly all fights if they just stand still.
